Board Grades
ECT (Edge Crush Test) measures stacking strength. Mullen measures burst resistance. Use ECT for palletized loads; Mullen for rough handling.

Flute Options
Flute profile determines thickness, stacking strength, and print quality. We stock all common flutes and produce custom combinations in-house.
C-Flute
Good all-around choice for single-wall long boxes. Adequate stacking and side compression.
BC Double Wall
Best for most long-length applications. Combines rigidity and cushioning for elongated loads.
BE Double Wall
Double wall with printable surface. Good when branded long-length packaging is needed.

✗ Steel Rule Dies
- Steel rule dies for long-length boxes are expensive and difficult to store
- Die length is fixed - each new product length needs a new die
- Press capacity limits how long a die-cut long box can physically be
- Long dies warp over time, causing tolerance issues at the ends
- High minimum quantities required to justify die investment
